The numbers vary, but still, it was ETHNIC CLEANSING, when Algeria was “liberated”.
At least a million white Algerians fled to France, but according to "The Jackal" (wonderful summer novel) it was 3 million of them. Les Pieds noirs.
In the annals of ethnic cleansing the “cleansing" of white Algeria is never mentioned.

P.S. If it's oh so respectable, and even humane, to force millions of white Frenchmen to flee to France, a country most of them perhaps have never seen, why should any other ethnic cleansing be deemed any different?
