Tiger and Elin divide men and women, they say. Like O.J. divides black and white.
Sure, it wasn't a nice thing to go cheating on Elin, but neither was her chasing Tiger with a golf club.
What was the purpose of that? Whacking him in the head with it? Could have gotten him killed. Making her a murderer.
Think if it had been the other way around. Her cheating on him, him chasing her with an iron nine?
Our tolerance of women's violence toward men is a statement, saying that women - like children - can't be held responsible for their actions.
Resorting to violence on mere emotional provocation is barbaric and primitive.
On Swedish television a female host slapped a male host in the face because she disagreed with his opinion. Lost her temper. Her victim said it hurt, but didn't make a thing of it. Had it been the other way around, police would have intervened and the culprit tried.
That's the way it is despite all talk of gender equality. It doesn't mean a thing.
